Fitness Regime
I've started myself on a fitness regime in an effort to boost my heath and wellbeing. I thought I'd try to blog about my progress each week, not because I think it will make for particularly interesting reading but because it might make me more accountable about it and stick to doing as much as I can.
Last week I:
Went for an hour long power walk on Monday, it felt good and my legs felt stiff and tight the next day.
Went to a Buns Abs and Thighs class on Friday. This was agony. I couldn't do the whole class, the lunges and squats were so full on that I had to wait some bits out. I could barely walk all day Saturday and Sunday was even worse. Every time I went up a flight of stairs my legs would seize up and spasm. I'm still pretty sore today but hopefully I'll be right to do some sort of exercise tomorrow. I'm afraid to go back but if I don't it won't improve. :( Maybe I'll try a different class this week. I'm actually surprised at how hard it was, I used to go to these classes more often and I would stop for months and then start again with nowhere near this kind of pain afterwards. I must have lost a lot of strength over the past year.

I finally have some time for running again but man I´m out of shape. So now I have to start with alternating between walking and running again, ugh!
